SANGGUNIANG BAYAN MEMBER HON. JURIC ‘BATMAN’ G. BLANCO

Hon. Juric Golong Blanco or Uyic is also known as BATMAN “BATANG MANDAYA” for he is a Mandaya in Tribe and proud to be one. He is the youngest of the late Barangay Captain of Barangay Osmeña and Municipal Councilor Jaime M. Blanco and Virginia G. Blanco. He was born on August 31, 1982 at Purok 1, Osmeña, Compostela, Davao del Norte (presently Compostela Valley Province).

He finished his elementary education at Osmena Elementary School, secondary at Assumption Academy of Compostela, and graduated college in Bukidnon State College – Compostela External Studies Center at Compostela with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance.

He is married to Cherry Sepe Blanco, blessed with three children namely:

Jeric Cyrill – a grade 10 at Assumption Academy of Compostela, Jamil Cyrus – grade 5 and Jaril Cydrick – kinder of the same school.

After the term of his father Jaime M. Blanco, he ran as councilor in the municipality and won. He did it for 3 consecutive terms as councilor and the youngest in the council as. As his term will end as councilor in June of 2016, he ran as Board Member of the first district in May 2016 election and unfortunately did not make it.

He did not stop his good deeds in helping the people. May 2018, Barangay Election, he ran as Barangay Kagawad at Barangay Osmena and luckily he won. He then served 10 months in the Barangay for he decided to ran again as Municipal Councilor in the Municipality of Compostela. Last May 2019 election he did make it, as what he said in his farewell speech during the 18th Council /Session that “BATMAN WILL RETURN IN 2019“.
